moonlight

I may go mad,

if not mad already

dreadfulness lurks—

I look for safety

in a merciful God,

for repose.

My own brain frightened me.

Moonlight,

in the wide expanse,

gave me a sense of freedom

in the midst of

remorseless wars.

I composed myself.
